SRE teacher, Rachel, knows how valuable SRE is to a young person’s faith journey. She’s had the joy of teaching a Year 4 class this year with the added delight of having previously taught the same students when they were in kindergarten.

Children’s Ministers from The Crossing and Bethany Trinity Presbyterian Church in Singapore recently visited Youthworks College for Children’s Ministry Training with MST Ministry Advisor Tim Beilharz.

We are delighted to have the Rev Bec Baines join Youthworks Ministry Support Team. Bec is the first ever Accessibility Ministry Advisor for the Sydney Anglican Diocese.

Craig, parent of Year 13 student, Eden, was greatly encouraged to see how the program helped his son grow in his faith and love for God. Craig highly recommends Year 13 for any school leaver and sees the positive impact it has on young people.

Indira Courtness, youth minister at Roseville Anglican and current student at Youthworks College, desires to see young people developed in the Christian faith. She and her team of volunteer leaders ran a weekend Winter Camp for their Friday night youth fellowship, an intentional program integrated into the yearly calendar of discipleship and evangelism.

With your partnership in supporting the work of the gospel, young people are being nurtured in their faith and getting their questions answered, through the fruitful ministry of Christian Outdoor Education.

Kirk Watkinson, children’s and youth minister at Kingswood Anglican, has had the joy of witnessing the faith journey of a young adult, Luke*, who came to know Jesus in his primary school SRE class. Now in his 20s, Luke is leading primary aged boys in their faith journey at church. Kirk says

For twenty years Youthworks College has been training and equipping faithful men and women to pass on the good news of Jesus to young people.

School camps are an incredibly important opportunity for young people as they grow and mature toward adulthood and gain more independence.
