Thanks to your support, Children’s Ministers from Singapore are continuing to being trained and equipped by MST.

Children’s Ministers from The Crossing and Bethany Trinity Presbyterian Church in Singapore recently visited Youthworks College for Children’s Ministry Training with MST Ministry Advisor Tim Beilharz.

 Gabe Tan, Family Pastor at The Crossing Church was thankful for the time he spent with Tim and that he was able to take a step back and reflect on his Children’s Ministry back in Singapore. Gabe says,

“While coming to NSW for a study trip on Kid’s Ministries, we were blessed to be able to sit in a one day in-person training with Tim Beilharz on two modules that Youthworks has for children's ministry - Children's Ministry Foundations & Fostering Healthy Group Dynamics..”

“I think the biggest change after training with Tim is a change in my mindset of what it looks like for me to be doing a good job in children's ministry…. Tim was helpful in reminding us that what we're after is holistic discipleship of our children, not just in Bible head knowledge, but in heart change and hands [acts of service] as well.”

 Gabe sees real opportunities of growth for his church, and has been encouraged by how ministries are run in NSW. He says,

 “We have been blessed by seeing how so many churches in NSW have faithful and fun children's ministries that show their kids Jesus every week. We also want to grow in creating a faithful and fun vibe at our kids ministry. We want our kids to enjoy living for Jesus and have fun with God's people as they grow in Christ and live out Christ-centred relationships with one another, not just grow in head knowledge!”
