What is the Effective Ministry Tool?
The Effective Ministry Tool (EMT) is a comprehensive survey for church ministry leaders to assess the effectiveness of their ministry to children and youth. Youthworks Ministry Support has developed the EMT as we have studied Scripture and culture in order to provide the best theology, principles and practice to a Gospel centred children’s and youth ministry.
The EMT is based on 7 principles that have been identified as key priorities for ministries that seek to establish young people as disciples of Christ and members of his Church. The EMT will sharpen your reflection on your current ministry practice by highlighting the current strengths and weaknesses of your ministry effectiveness.
On completion to the online tool, you will receive a report that identifies specific areas of focus for your future ministry. A Youthworks Ministry Support advisor will then meet with you to discuss the report and assist you in your strategic planning for establishing more effective ministry to children and youth.

The EMT will cost $250 per church. This includes a unique EMT survey link for each person you want to complete the survey and a one hour advisor meeting for the individual or team. Team EMT reports also include comparative graphs showing the points of alignment or misalignment between members of your team.

Coaching Lite
Youthworks Coaching Lite is a 10-week coaching program for children or youth ministers designed to build specific competency in one of the 7 Principles of Effective Ministry. The Coaching Lite program consists of five fortnightly meetings, leading towards the candidate presenting a short term deliverable reflective of the effectiveness principle of your choice.Price: $550
Coaching
Youthworks Coaching is a 12-month coaching program for children and youth ministers designed to grow the capacity, skills and wisdom of the candidate. The Coaching program supports the development, supervision and review of the candidates ministry plan including a comprehensive review of key development areas and a supervised reading plan across 10 monthly meetings. Candidates may also audit one of the four Youthworks College subjects on Children’s, Youth or Intergenerational Ministry.Price: $2000
Consultancy
Youthworks ministry consultancy provides is an opportunity for a comprehensive review of your church's children’s and youth ministry, with the aim of developing and strengthening the ministry support structures and the capacity of key staff. Your church will benefit from a more focused ministry strategy, and better equipped staff to grow your youth and children's ministry. The consultancy will also include leadership support for the senior minister delivered by the Centre for Ministry Development.
