Praise God for the ways your support is helping youth ministry flourish through COVID-19! The youth team at Christ Church, Gladesville, are grateful for your support that saw them get creative over winter and connect local youth to the gospel.

Over three nights, the team helped the youth at church connect their friends to the life-changing message of Jesus through a new initiative called Winter Life.

While meeting together in one large gathering was impossible, youth group members were encouraged to host ‘mini-conferences’ at their houses, inviting friends over for dinner and some fun, with some structured time to watch a one-hour stream that included a clear gospel talk. For those who were without a house location, last-minute changes to restrictions enabled the church site to act as a communal space as well.

Simeon Cumberland, the church’s Youth Minister, shares how the conference was an amazing success:

“The gospel was clearly preached each night, and on the last night two young girls let us know that they’d made a commitment to follow Jesus!”
