Reaching young people online and at school, thanks to you!

Your support has allowed hard-hit ministries like sre to continue this year.

Your support has been vital for the success of SRE this year – one of the most hard-hit ministries in 2020.

Even though COVID-19 suspended face-to-face lessons for a time, your generosity helped to quickly organise Think Faith Online, a self-paced lesson pack for high school students to use at home. Over 500 students accessed it while learning remotely, thanks to you!

In more recent times, SRE classes have begun to restart in schools across NSW. One SRE teacher reports that they were there to speak the gospel when tragedy struck at their school:

“I have been available to offer appropriate support. In the SRE classes, I provided a space to encourage students to seek help, and pointed to the hope that we have in Jesus.”

And one deputy principal said:

“Year 7 students have been eager for SRE to recommence. They had been asking ever since school resumed in Term 2!”

What an amazing answer to prayer. It’s wonderful to see God at work in the lives of young people, even in these trying times. Not only in young people, but also in their families who are hearing the message of Jesus through the student.

Thank you for your generosity to reach young people and orient them to Christ. For many, SRE is their only contact with the gospel.
