About the role
Youthworks Conference Centres is seeking a casual cook for our team at Shoalhaven, situated on the Shoalhaven River, just outside Nowra. This casual role offers rostered weekend and midweek shifts to service seven day a week operations. Your key role will be contributing to our guests satisfaction, through the preparation of menu items to required specifications and standards.
No more late nights! Evening shifts finish at 7pm (with minimal exceptions)
No split shifts

Your responsibilities
Prepare and Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the catering team
Assist with keeping the kitchen clean and hygenic
You will need to demonstrate
The ability and availability to cover shifts Monday to Sunday
Demonstrable catering experience (at least 1 year in a commercial setting)
Proven knowledge of Industry and Safety Standards
A genuine passion for producing great food
A strong work ethos and the ability to work with a wide range of staff to achieve effective outcomes
A willingness to work within an overtly Christian environment and with an Anglican organisation
What we would really like you to have
A personal Christian faith
Catering or cooking qualifications
Experience in bulk catering
