Special Religious Education (SRE) is important for many young people’s faith journey because it sets them up to walk the path of life early and helps them to know God’s love!

SRE teacher, Leanne, knows this to be true. She has been teaching SRE for over 15 years. She says:

“SRE is really important because it’s the chance to tell children who God is … and it’s rewarding to see the reactions and their inquisitive minds.

And..

It’s the privilege of going into the schools and the privilege of seeing each child’s reaction to the truth of God’s love.

Leanne’s prayer for young people:

· is that their hearts would be open to hearing the Good News of Jesus; and

· they have the desire to learn more and want to know more about God - not just learning facts but growing in their relationship with him.”
