A girl in foster care now knows Jesus thanks to your support for Youthworks JAM camp. Thank you!

A camper says: “I want to know God, not just know about him.”

Like you, volunteer Ian ‘Robbo’ Robinson is passionate about leading young people closer to Jesus. That’s why he’s been leading on camps for almost 30 years.

Robbo’s so thankful for how your generosity helps make these life-changing camps possible. He explains:

“Being involved with Youthworks through camps and SRE provides so many wonderful opportunities. I get to show love to others and share Jesus with them and see the gospel bring people out of darkness into the light.”

“Last January, as we were on a bushwalk, a girl—living in foster care—said to me, ‘I want to know God, not just know about him’. Her desire was granted that evening and there was rejoicing in heaven and on earth as well!”

How wonderful that this young girl in foster care now knows Jesus – a friend who’ll never leave her! Robbo adds that the Youthworks camps and resources that you help provide are enabling “thousands of young people to hear from the Bible each year”. And, “as the seed is faithfully sown, we pray that the God who is faithful will cause it to fall on good soil and bear much fruit for his kingdom”.
