How you’re helping youth stand strong in this storm

One of the great gifts you’re giving to churches in this season of uncertainty is the care of the Youthworks Ministry Support team. You’ve enabled them to continue investing in local churches’ ministry to young people.

With your help, youth and children’s ministry leaders are being supported with advice and resources, as well as fortnightly Zoom calls to share ideas about how to encourage young people during this disorienting season.

Michelle Seers, Children’s Minister at Blackheath Anglican Church, says:

“Thanks to Youthworks I had the opportunity to verbalise how things have been going. I’ve felt like I’m not on my own. Being someone who works for a small parish, it’s been super special to have Youthworks’ encouragement during this time.”

Youth and children’s ministry is vital, and perhaps one of the hardest-hit areas of regular church ministry in recent times. But your investment in young people has helped local leaders to persevere with their valuable work, equipped and empowered to share the gospel and orient those they serve towards life in Christ.

In this season when so many feel anxious and isolated, thank you for helping young people to be supported by equipped leaders and Christian role models so they can be encouraged to walk closer to Jesus for life, no matter the challenge. Thank you!
