Marketing Coordinator / CBD

Youthworks Christian Education Publications (CEP) is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The CEP division publishes Christian educational content across a variety of platforms for young people and those serving young people, including but not limited to resources for SRE ministry, Christian studies in independent schools, and church ministries. The CEP division also provides educational resources for the Sydney Diocese.

About the role

As Marketing Coordinator, you will assist the Head of Christian Education Publications by implementing the marketing strategies relating to our range of general publications and resources for church ministry. There will also be some marketing work for our range of school curriculum.

Your responsibilities

  • Preparation of collateral to support the work of CEP’s Marketing Managers

  • Assist with managing existing relationships within churches, trade partners, individual customers and SRE/RI communities

  • Manage the Growing Faith website

  • Build CEP’s social media presence

  • Assistance with CEP stalls and book displays at various Christian conferences (Next Gen, KYCK, SRE training days, and various children’s ministry conferences).

You will need to demonstrate  

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or related field

  • Relevant work experience in a marketing/communication or related field and/or proven knowledge of the industry

  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively

  • Understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing strong customer service

  • Demonstrated competencies in dealing with work requiring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in using a range of software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and databases

  • Strong customer focus

  • A commitment to work within Youthworks’ mission and within an Anglican organisation

Desirable

  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, methodology

  • Experience in Adobe InDesign and Adobe PhotoShop
